Significant milestone reached – full operational authorisation for cross-border BVLOS UAS flights

This year 2023 has started with very good news for flyXdrive and our research activities (EULE, Grenzflug+, Safir-med).

We received the full operational authorisation from ILenT Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport and LBA Luftfahrt-Bundesamt to fly cross-border BVLOS UAS operations in the ´specific` category between the Netherlands and Germany.

Flights will soon take place between the Zuyderland medical centre in Heerlen and the University Hospital of Aachen (Uniklinik RWTH Aachen).
